The Selo InovPed award for UPorto team
The DITE inhouse training wins an award dedicated to pedagogical innovation. The Selo InovPed award, an initiative by the Educational Innovation Unit of the University of Porto, aims to distinguish UPorto training units in Continuing Education that implement pedagogically innovative methods.
The course “ICE – Internationalisation in School Context: Promoting Diversity and Internationalisation in Teacher Training”, developed within the scope of the DITE Project is one of the six winning applications. The pioneering training, aimed at promoting the dimensions of inclusion and internationalisation in initial teacher training, brought together, in its first edition, 30 students of Master’s Degrees in teaching from all Faculties of the University of Porto where teachers are trained: the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (FPCEUP), the Faculty of Fine Arts (FBAUP), the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP), the Faculty of Sports (FADEUP) and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FLUP).
The team of trainers, also known as DITE ambassadors, includes professors/researchers from the different Faculties offering teacher training at UPorto: Clara Vasconcelos (FCUP), Henrique Vaz (FPCEUP), Maria João Couto (FLUP), Paula Queirós (FADEUP), Paula Silva (FADEUP), Rosa Tomás Ferreira (FCUP), Sónia Rodrigues (FLUP) and Thiago Freires (FPCEUP).
Congratulations to the DITE team!
