Privacy rules

  1. The Controller of personal data is the University of Szczecin, with its seat in Szczecin, al. Papieża Jana Pawła II 22a

  3. The University of Szczecin has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who can be contacted by writing to: iod@usz.edu.pl or by writing to: dite@usz.edu.pl, marked “DPO”
  4. Personal data will be processed for the purposes of sending the DITE newsletter – the legal basis for data processing is the necessity to pursue purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by the University of Szczecin (Article 6(1) point (f) of the GDPR). The lawful purpose of the processing is to use of information in order to send the newsletter to the subscriber.
  5. The recipient of the data will be the International Relations Department of the University of Szczecin.
  6. Personal data processed for sending the newsletter will be processed until an objection to the processing is filed.
  7. The person providing their data has the right to demand from the University of Szczecin: a) rectification of data; b) erasure of data; c) restriction of data processing.
  8. The person providing their data has the right to object – on grounds related to his/her particular situation – to the processing of the data on the basis of Article 6(1) point (f) of the GDPR (the premise of the necessity of the processing for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the University of Szczecin).
  9. The person providing their data has the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
  10. Providing one’s data is voluntary, but required by the University of Szczecin and necessary for the purpose of receiving the DITE newsletter from the University of Szczecin.
